The Playboy Club - So bad, but definitely a guilty pleasure; I'm a little sad to see it go...
Free Agents - Brilliant, smart, and funny show with the exception of the bro characters in the office. Why doesn't NBC have a little faith in it?!
Up All Night - Getting better and better every week. Probably my favorite new comedy on TV (since Free Agents is gone, now...)
The Secret Circle - I tried. I really did. But I just can't get past the CW-ness of it...
Revenge - Kind of awesome. Over the top and overly dramatic in all the best ways. Can't wait to see whose life Emily Thorne ruins next.
2 Broke Girls - Kat and Beth are great and have awesome chemistry, but every supporting character is the most cliched, sitcom stereotype that I've ever seen. Waiting to see when the shows bad points outweigh its good.
Whitney - I'm wondering how far this train wreck is going to go.
American Horror Story - I have no idea what happened, but I like it.
New Girl - Thought it would be too quirky for me, but it's got a lot of heart. Good job.
Pan Am - It's not heavy or anything. But it's well shot, well written, and there's Christina Ricci. The 10-year-old boy in me is very happy for that last fact. Longtime crush right there.
Once Upon a Time - Can't wait for it to start.
Grimm - I'm going to give it a try, but I just doesn't look good.
Prime Suspect - Maria Bello is a force, but the show just isn't that interesting.
And then of course there's How I Met Your Mother and Community with The Walking Dead, Mad Men, and 30 Rock starting eventually...
On a different topic (one that doesn't make me sound like a lazy couch potato), Libra Theater Company just announced the full cast for our reading of To Gillian on Her 37th Birthday on Friday, October 21st at 8:30 pm. Be sure to join us a Penthouse II at Shetler Studios (with a reception at 8:00 pm) for a fun, FREE event. Hope to see you then!
