As a songwriter, Nick takes his influences from both in and out of the theater. His songs have been seen in various venues across NYC including 54 Below, the Musical Theatre Factory, and Lincoln Center, where he has been featured three times in the Broadway's Future Songbook Series. His musical Royal Fables (2015 New York Innovated Theatre Award nomination for "Outstanding Original Music") was one of four American projects shortlisted for the 2016 KSF Foundation "Artists of Choice" Award. He is also a three-time honoree of the SongDoor International Songwriting Competition.
Beyond composing, Nick is a freelance grant writer with over a decade of experience in fundraising for theater and the arts. He was also co-founder of Libra Theater Company, an award-winning off-off-Broadway theater with credits including The Thirteenth Commandment by Joshua H. Cohen, Kind Souls by Tom Diggs, and Touch by Toni Press-Coffman.
